School Day

Arrival: School doors open at 8:05 AM. Classes begin at 8:20.

St. Mary’s Before Care Program: A Before School Program is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 8:05 a.m. in the school’s cafeteria. The cost for this program is $1 per day, per student and available for students who must arrive early.

Lunch: Is served in St. Mary’s cafeteria in three shifts between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Dismissal Times: St. Mary’s regular school dismissal time is 3:00 p.m. To better align with the schedule of the Taylorville Public Schools, St. Mary School will dismiss at 2:15 on all but the final Wednesday of each month beginning in September. Refer to the School Calendar for early out days.

St. Mary’s After Care Program: An After Care Program is offered from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the school’s cafeteria. On days of 2:15 dismissal, the program begins at dismissal and closes at 5:00 p.m. The charge is $6 per day for regular dismissal; $7 for 2:15 dismissal.  Please use the Enrollment Forms to sign up for our After Care Program.

Bus service: Through the Taylorville Community Unit School District #3 is available most school days to St. Mary students residing within district boundaries.
