Theresa Ess

In 2019, Ms. Ess began teaching reading at St. Mary School. Prior to this, she retired from the South Fork School District after a 35-year teaching career. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University and later obtained her Master’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She resides in Taylorville with her husband and their son, Ryan, who is an alumnus of St. Mary School. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She finds joy in observing her students develop confidence and independence.
