Her grandchildren’s enrollment marks the fifth generation of her family at St. Mary; her grandfather’s family, her mother, her siblings and herself, and her children all attended the parish school.

In 1991, Carole earned her undergraduate degree from UIS with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Education, including K-9 teacher certification. She went on to receive a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Teacher Leadership from UIS in 2017.

Carole began teaching at St. Mary School in 1991 and taught for twelve years, during which time she instructed 1st, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Social Studies. In 2002-2003, she accepted the position of Director of Religious Education and became a part of the Administrative team.

Carole believes that St. Mary School is a truly wonderful educational institution that helps to form the whole person, and she feels honored to be part of the St. Mary family.
