Meet Mrs. Becky Mizeur

Mrs. Becky Mizeur is proud to be a St. Mary School teacher and has taught fourth grade since 2022. She is deeply committed to not only helping students excel academically but also to guiding them in their spiritual growth and formation as compassionate, thoughtful individuals.
She holds a degree in Psychology & Teacher Education from the University of Illinois Springfield. Her passion for teaching stems from her belief in the power of education to shape both minds and hearts, and she feels blessed to be part of a community that values both intellectual and spiritual development.
In the classroom, she works to create an environment where students feel respected, valued, and encouraged to grow in their faith and knowledge. She aims to make learning engaging and meaningful, and she seeks to inspire students to think critically, act justly, and embrace a life of service to others, in line with Catholic teachings.
Outside of school, she and her husband, Michael (1983 St. Mary School graduate), operate a farm where they raise row crops and commercial cattle. Their daughter, Olivia, is a proud St. Mary graduate from the class of 2020. Their son, Wyatt, also attended St. Mary and now works alongside them on the farm. It’s a true family effort, and they are blessed to share their home with two dogs, Harley and Brutus, and three cats, Chester, Peter, and Wumbo.
Mrs. Mizeur is grateful for the opportunity to be part of our vibrant school community, both as a parent and teacher. She looks forward to continuing to support the growth and development of our wonderful students.
