St. Mary School

Student Sports Programs

Information about our sports programs is available for current families and those considering enrollment.

Pee Wee Basketball

Pee Wee Basketball encourages young athletes to learn the basics of the game in a fun and supportive setting. Open to boys and girls ages 4 through 4th grade.

Defenders Basketball

Our 4th - 6th grade girls and boys basketball teams compete in structured leagues. Players practice regularly and participate in team games. Students can also join co-op sports with local schools when available.

Co-Op Sports

When available, St. Mary School partners with local schools to offer co-op athletic opportunities. This year we partnered with another school in Taylorville, IL to offer 5th & 6th grade cross country. Contact our Athletic Director to ask about co-op sports opportunities.

Student-athletes at St. Mary School must meet academic and behavior expectations to participate in sports. Eligibility requirements support student progress in the classroom and on the court.

Our coaches focus on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship while guiding student-athletes to improve and compete.

The Athletic Director oversees all sports programs at St. Mary School. If you have questions about any of our athletic programs, please contact the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director for more information.
